Carry on Love..

April 5, 2017

I hate to see you go

But like the frozen snow

Your cold, icy heart must melt away.

As the sun on the morning of spring you use to brighten my day

But this love has turned from May

To New York cloudy December gray.

The cat use to bite my tongue in passion

Leaving me with nothing to say

And my lips would pin kisses like a lapel on your chest as you lay.

Encore love can we experience once more?

Your eyes say no, as my hearts sinks through the floor.

Told myself I wouldn't fall for love

But you can't escape what's sent from above.

An angel you still are even though you signed your name on my heart with a scar...
